Meet Boris! (Apparently I can't spell "Boris.") Isn't this fun, getting to know all these guys for the first time? I know it's fun for me. Well, we've got a new site layout obviously, which will hopefully continue to be improved, and word bubbles! I made the word bubbles and the banner at the top of the page in Inkscape, which is an open source vector based graphics editor similar to Adobe Illustrator. It's nowhere near a final release, but it works really well for doing basic stuff like this. You can search the galleries on their site to see some really impressive stuff, I'm obviously barely scratching the surface with my word bubbles and thundercloud. Also, I think the scan quality of the picture is getting better, and that should be helped when we find a good pen to ink the pictures with before we scan them.
